The Bertelsmann Entrepreneurs Program is a management rotational program that provides budding entrepreneurs with the opportunity to explore our world of media and then write their own chapter within the Bertelsmann success story.
This custom tailored international program spans 12-18 months with approximately three rotations throughout our family of media and service companies, (Books, Magazines, Television, Book/Music/DVD Clubs, Print and a wide array of Services).
Each year we accept a few outstanding people with high potential into our Entrepreneurs Program.
Developmental aspects of the program include mentorship from a member of Bertelsmann’s Executive Board, internal training initiatives, group projects and many opportunities for networking with both executives and peers across many of our divisions.

You can either register in the Personal Career Planner (PCP) and then send your application or apply directly without PCP registration. Select the product line Headquarters and write in your cover letter that you are applying for the Bertelsmann Entrepreneurs Program.
Tobias Schirmer
Tobias Schirmer received his MBA from Instituto de Empresa after completing a degree in business and management with BA in Business & Management at the University of Exeter. While working in various international companies, such as Deutsche Bank AG and Merrill Lynch & Co., he gained comprehensive experience in the fields of banking and finance. Entrepreneurial experiences he gained by running a start up in the field of finance.
Tobias joined the Bertelsmann Entrepreneurs Program in October 2008 in the company’s Corporate Center. After three months in the Bertelsmann Capital Investments department, he moved to New York to work at Random House.
